Confix Australia Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business with a deep appreciation of Australia’s history. Our passion is evident in the quality of our work and the care we take in maintaining and restoring our heritage buildings.

Since our inception in 1998, we have completed successful restoration works on over 100 of Victoria’s beautiful heritage facades and interiors.

Confix is located in Port Melbourne, within three kilometres of Melbourne’s CBD. We service the whole of Victoria and have the capacity to undertake both commercial and residential work.

Our team is made up of both construction managers and specialist tradesmen. In-house, we can both manage and carry out your restoration works whilst meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Our in-house specialist tradesmen have over 100 years of combined on-site experience. We are experts intraditional sand/cement render and solid plastering, as well as masonry restoration and concrete remedial works. We are able to match and replicate the most detailed mould work.

Our management have the licenses and experience to deliver restoration projects from start to finish. After more than thirty years in the industry, we have longstanding relationships with Victoria’s best restoration subcontractors, whom we bring together to achieve all aspects of your heritage projects.

Bernard O’Hanlon, Managing Director

Qualifications: Registered Building Practitioner (DB-L-21819 & CB-L-44574). WorkSafe Victoria High Risk Work Licences (Mobile Plant Access & Scaffolding). Certificate 3 in Occupational Health and Safety.

Experience: Bernard has over 37 years in the construction industry, with over 30 years in managing building refurbishment works

Nathan O’Hanlon, Operations Manager

Qualifications: Registered Building Practitioner (CB-L-100031). Masters Degree in Construction Management at Melbourne University. Certificate 3 in Occupational Health and Safety.

Experience: Nathan has worked with Confix since 2017, managing over two hundred projects. Before 2017 spent three years with Hansen Yuncken, fulfilling various management roles on projects up to $68M in value.

Jarrod O’Hanlon, Site Manager

Qualifications: Honours Degree in Construction Management at RMIT University, Melbourne.

Experience: Jarrod has eleven years’ experience working for Confix onsite and is skilled in traditional sand cement render & solid plastering work.

Michael Dunne, Solid Plasterer / Masonry Restoration.

Experience: Michael has over 42 years’ experience within the construction industry and 22 years with Confix onsite. He expertly carries out all traditional solid plaster restoration works and masonry repairs, including bluestone rebuilding & repointing.

Miguel Quilici, Solid Plasterer

Experience: Miguel has over 40 years’ experience within the construction industry and 23 years with Confix onsite. He masterfully carries out all traditional solid plaster restoration works, including moulds and decorative items.
