Based on the Mornington Peninsula. Steve Hofer is a registered Architect, and experienced practitioner in preserving, restoring, adaptive re-use and refurbishing all kinds of historic places and spaces.
With a particularly hands on approach, Steve is routinely involved in projects from initial stages, survey and condition reports, dilapidation Reports, analysis of opportunities and constraints, to design work, documentation, project planning and delivery. Managing approvals processes, finding the right builder and leading the works during those sensitive on site processes are all aspects of the projects Steve lives and breathes.
Recognised as one of the Peninsulas most awarded heritage practitioners, Steve has had the honour to have received 10 awards from the Mornington Peninsula Shire/National Trust Heritage annual awards during their 11 year history.
