Kyneton Dry Stone Walling Centre is passionate about Dry Stone Walling and does not undertake any work that is inconsistent with the traditional methods of Dry Stone Walling. We are a growing local business dedicated to building, repairing, restoring and teaching about Dry Stone Walls consistent with the standards of the Dry Stone Wall Association of Great Britain (DSWA(GB)). In recent years we have also included a research and reporting consultant for heritage reporting and archiving of Dry Stone Structures. this includes Dry Stone Wall Management Plans.
The Centre was opened in 2016 at Tanderrum Farm just outside Kyneton, Victoria, and our goal is to advance the art and craft of Dry Stone Walling within the Asia Pacific Region. We are experts in this craft and pride ourselves on building a unique reputation amongst our clients for professional conduct delivering quality work. All renovation, repair or rebuilding work undertaken by KDSWC is strictly supervised by internationally certified wallers who will ensure that the work is completed in a professional manner and consistent with global standards of construction. Multiple certified wallers are normally used on all job sites. Additionally, our walling leads have extensive experience in Heritage wall restoration, rebuilds and repair. All planning and methods used for projects are consistent with the principals of Dry Stone Walling, project management principles and occupational health and safety. KDSWC have all the appropriate insurances, OH&S training and are members of the Dry Stone Wall Association of Australia, Master Builders, The National Trust and Heritage Victoria. We are also fortunate to have been selected as Macedon Ranges Business of the Year as well as winner of the Building Excellence and Innovation award.
