I have extensive experience at a senior level working in Victoria, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, in government and non government organisations, curating and managing collections, exhibitions, public programs, staff and volunteers. My expertise and particular interest is in strategically making museums sustainable by ensuring their relevance to their communities and making decisions based on the significance of the heritage asset, usually the museum, within its context. This can include strategic planning, conservation housekeeping, public programs, interpretative exhibitions and installations, promotion and profile raising, collection management, project management, curatorial work, curating and managing house museums, developing and delivering lectures and presentations, training, seminars and workshops in museum and cultural heritage, significance assessments and collection reviews and locum services.
A solution starts with a conversation.
