Thylacine has over 20 years of award-winning experience in the specialist field of interpretive design, visitor experience, and exhibition design for major tourism sites, galleries, museums, libraries, archives, visitor centres, cultural and heritage sites. Our team of experienced specialists work with our clients and stakeholders to develop memorable and marketable visitor experiences that connect visitors to site, culture, nature, heritage, technology, and story. We are a full-service consultancy offering master planning, design, documentation, fabrication, and installation of small, medium, and large-scale projects.  

With Canberra and Melbourne offices, Thylacine has both full interpretive and graphic design studios and a 1,000 sqm fabrication facility. We are a multi-disciplinary team of designers and makers including interpretive, media, interior, graphic, and industrial designers, architects, artists, curators, researchers and writers, joiners and mount makers. It is through this synthesis of creative and technical experience that we can develop rich, dynamic and contemporary design solutions that are both highly functional and practical, to deliver the most innovative design solutions within realistic budgetary, material, and physical limitations.
