Richard Jenkins
Entrepreneur/Founder of niche businesses. Richard has from a young age been guided by his father, Murray Jenkins, who specialised in Heritage Building & Construction for some 40+ years in the New England region of NSW. During his upbringing Richard was exposed to heritage worksites which required a higher level of care and specific techniques to provide a result that honoured the heritage character. Among these techniques was polishing the various brass hardware found in such buildings. Including hinges, door knobs, french door mounts, window latches to name a few. This unique aspect of the Jenkins family business created a professional expectation and a keen eye for detail. Richard went on to become an Audio Visual Engineer and Collaboration Technologies Specialist. He provided his expertise to a number of universities in Australia and internationally. Since moving to Melbourne in 2016 he noticed a lot of Brass plaques and brass displays in need of restoration and polishing. He then went on to start Razoo Polishing as a mobile polishing service in Melbourne to cater to these such items. Razoo has now established itself as a leading Mobile Polishing service Victoria wide and continues to grow.
