RBA Architects and Conservation Consultants is a studio of design, heritage and conservation professionals with almost 30 years experience.
We have extensive project experience in both the private and public sectors and have a diverse multi-disciplinary skill set which enables us to provide a holistic approach to architecture and conservation.
We actively engage with contemporary heritage practice, taking a broad place-based approach – recognising intangible community values such as language, skills and traditions, rather than limiting our focus to discrete buildings and monuments.
At RBA we pride ourselves on our considered and informed approach to heritage matters. We undertake research and comprehensive analysis so as to understand the development of places, and to then determine what is significant or not about a place. This can provide opportunities for change which may not have been initially apparent. Our purpose is to help clients to recognise and connect to the heritage value of their asset – finding ways to view heritage as an opportunity, not a barrier for creativity and development.
